As Jack and Erica looked on, Julia examined Lily to determine if she’d been raped. Meanwhile, the survivors of the yacht accident poured into the hospital; none were too badly hurt. Krystal held Adam back when he tried to lunge at Sean, whom Adam held responsible for Colby being missing. Sean maintained his insolent attitude even after Jack gave him a talking to. Jeff observed Erica speaking tenderly to Lily…. Sean faulted Colby for crashing the boat, which Sydney confirmed…. Erica gave Jack the great news that Lily wasn’t raped. “Jonathan saved her,” noted Erica. Jeff told Erica that she was more beautiful and impressive than she used to be…. Jack apologized to a still-catatonic Lily for having failed to protect her — and listen to her. “I thought I knew what’s best,” he sighed. He held her hand.
Ryan woke up in his hospital bed to see Kendall and Spike sitting in his room. Kendall told Ryan that Jonathan killed Terry. Ryan insisted on leaving the hospital despite Kendall’s concern for his health.
At the police station, Jamal assured Annie that Livia was on her way while Jonathan paced the floors of the interrogation room. Derek grilled Jon about the shooting; Annie too had to face tough questions from the cops. Ryan and Kendall walked in as Derek confronted Jon about buying a gun and a ticket to Ireland. Kendall learned that Zach was in jail again and rushed to his cell…. Ryan refused to press charges against Annie. Derek said that Emma would go into foster care while Annie would be returned to face charges in New York. Annie and Jamal freaked out. Derek was on the verge of placing Jonathan under arrest when Jack showed up and announced that he would be representing Jonathan.
Zach received a visit in his jail cell from Myrtle. She assured him that she believed he didn’t kill Madden; Zach noted that Kendall didn’t believe in his innocence. She warned him not to let his pride ruin his marriage. His next visitor was Kendall, who broke down crying as she defended her refusal to trust him blindly. “Ask me anything,” said Zach. “I can’t do it,” replied Kendall.
