When Josh reported to Erica that Kendall is straight, she thanked him for his detective work but explained that her mission had changed: Now she needed info on his dad, info that would help her bring him down. Josh told Erica he couldn’t — that he wouldn’t — help her.
Kendall and Greenlee showed up at Greg’s in the hopes of confirming Kendall’s pregnancy; he informed them that he could no longer serve as their physician, because Erica was not happy with the role he’d played in bringing the surrogacy to fruition. Greg ran some tests and ascertained that Kendall is definitely pregnant; the ladies were jubilant, but Greg reminded them that they still have a big problem on their hands: Erica. Kendall and Greenlee then stormed over to Erica’s office and gave her a piece of their mind about her interference. The gals warned Erica that if she doesn’t stay away from Greg, she’ll lose her access to Kendall and to Ryan’s baby. Josh, meanwhile, paid Greg a visit and overheard his assistant warning him that he’s playing with fire by making himself subject to Erica’s investigation of him.
Julia woke up from a nightmare about murdering Garret. Anita excused herself so that Julia could chat privately with Tad. Tad asked Julia what she’d learned about “Dixie” during their time together in New York. Tad ultimately revealed to Julia that he knows Di’s true identity, and she asked him if he planned to tell the world. Tad sighed that if he exposed Di as an imposter, it might undo the progress his sons were slowly making on their relationship, but that nothing excuses Di’s deception. Julia put in a vote for Tad keeping his mouth shut.
Di told Little Adam that she doesn’t want to lose him, which JR overheard and was confused by. Di sighed that she hadn’t been completely honest and that Tad was deeply upset with her. This yanked JR’s chain, though Di defended Tad’s right to feel disappointed. When Jamie showed up with a gift for the baby, JR was icy and told Jamie to tell Tad that in JR’s humble opinion, he’s a self-righteous jerk. Di told JR to cool off, then slipped off to bring “her” boys a surprise: cookies. The sweets did the trick of temporarily bringing the brothers together. Tad then showed up and Di pulled him away for a private chat, during which Tad informed her that she was going to tell the family the truth about who she is.
Mimi came to see Danielle at Fusion and apologized to her daughter for not believing her about Garret. “What kind of mother does that?” Mimi lamented. Dani felt bad for Mimi when her mom reported that she’s being investigated by Internal Affairs. When Mimi begged Dani for another chance, Dani pointed out how badly she’d needed her mom during her difficult summer — and how her mom simply hadn’t been there. Mimi was willing to take her lumps but vowed not to repeat her past mistakes. Dani told her mom she couldn’t guarantee a reconcilation, but promised to keep in touch with Mimi, who was headed out of town. When Mimi turned to go, Dani stopped her and they exchanged tearful “I love you”s.
