Kendall was weirded out by Greenlee’s behavior when her pal visited her before Thanksgiving dinner, but was delighted when Greens disclosed that she’d invited Ryan to the Kane/Montgomery gathering. In front of Greenlee, she opened the gift Ryan had brought the night before, three silver hearts linked on a chain. Greenlee began to cry, then begged Kendall to tell her the secret she’s harboring, if she is. Simone and Ethan’s arrival interrupted them, and they dragged Kendall and a pensive Greenlee off to the Valley Inn.
At the Chandler manse, Adam was made grouchy by the presence of Tad, Babe and Palmer, all of whom had been invited by JR — and his mood darkened further when Di showed up, also at JR’s behest. Adam warned Krystal to make Babe keep her distance from JR, as the two were looking uncomfortably cozy as they cuddled with Little Adam. Tad asked JR what he had in mind for Di; JR remaind coy…. Tad joined Krystal out on the terrace and they chatted about the topsy-turvy family situation indoors (Babe and JR getting along, JR playing nice with Di). Tad demanded to know why Babe took the rap for JR in the drunk-driving situation. Krystal insisted her daughter did it out of the goodness of her heart. Back inside, a pissed-off Amanda showed up uninvited, wearing a neck brace and using a walker, and declared that she intends to sue both JR and Babe. Amanda ranted against JR for siding with Babe over her and accused Babe of staging her own fall. Amanda then collapsed; JR was far from sympathetic when she came to, and Tad had to restrain her when she lunged for JR. Amanda left without her walker (which did not escape JR’s scornful attention) after threatening JR. JR and Babe told Tad that Amanda is far from the innocent girl he thinks she is…. Tad spoke to Amanda outside and told her he cared about her; she warned him she wouldn’t abandon her quest to destroy JR and Babe’s happiness…. Adam announced that dinner was ready, but JR said he wanted to screen a video first. He then popped in a cassette that he claimed was a home video, but images of Little Adam playing quickly dissolved into footage of Di — stripping at a seedy club.
Jack, Lily, Reggie and Erica were surprised to arrive at the Valley Inn and find that Zach and Ryan were invited to dinner by Greenlee. Jack agreed to play nice with Ryan for the day while Erica urged Zach to divorce Kendall. “Maybe after dinner,” cracked Zach. The next arrivals were Josh and Greg. Erica had invited Josh; Greg had been asked to join in by Greenlee. Jack came down hard on Greg, who defended his decision to help Greenlee have a child by pointing out that his own wife became suicidal when she couldn’t conceive. Jack was dismayed when David, too, arrived at Greenlee’s request. Erica confronted David for lying to him about the contents of the syringe at Greenlee’s; he shrugged that his allegiance is to Greenlee, first and foremost. Ethan, Simone, Greenlee and Kendall then arrived. Erica wanted to know why Greenlee had included David, Greg et. al. on her guest list; she said she wanted everyone involving the baby to be there. Greens pulled David aside and asked him to help her through what was to come. “How did you find out?” he gasped…. Kendall asked Greenlee why she’d invited Zach, but ran off when pregnancy queasiness kicked in…. Zach admitted to Lily that he’d lied to her about Ryan’s “ghost”, and confirmed her suspicions when she deduced that he was divorcing Kendall to protect her feelings…. Ryan promised Greenlee he would be the best father he could be…. Ethan assured Simone that Zach and Kendall’s divorce didn’t matter to him…. Erica called everyone to the table… Greenlee proposed the first toast. “I’d like to toast Kendall,” she began. After elaborating on the sacrifices Kendall has made for her, Greenlee dropped the bomb. “My dear, selfless friend isn’t carrying my baby with Ryan. She’s carrying her own baby with Ryan.” Kendall looked like she was going to be sick — and not because of the pregnancy this time.
