In New York City, Aidan told Reggie and Jack he discovered Lily and Jonathan had filed for a marriage license. The men took off to the courthouse, in hopes to stop a wedding, but had many problems getting through security. Meanwhile, everything that could go wrong for Lily and Jonathan on their wedding day, did. Before they could make it in front of the judge, Lily freaked out because another couple was yelling, Jonathan had an awful headache and collapsed and then the lady setting up the weddings was wearing red, which Lily couldn’t handle. You’d think they would take these things as signs, but alas, they did not. Reggie and Jack finally made it through security and upstairs —just in time to hear Lily and Jonathan pronounced husband and wife.
Greg managed to hide an unconscious Erica (in a trunk!) before Di, Del, JR, Babe and Jamie (who was quickly informed his sister was alive) could enter his office. Greg told the crew the same story he told Tad: Kate died and Dixie couldn’t accept it so she’d been harassing him for years. When Di mentioned that Tad and Dixie were following a lead from him right now, Greg blew it off by saying Dixie broke into his office and found misleading info on a child around Kate’s age. JR quickly left and Babe and Jamie followed him. He didn’t know what to believe. Was his sister alive? Or was Dixie crazy? JR also informed his little brother that he pled guilty and would be going to jail soon. Meanwhile, Del pretended to be on Madden’s side so he could get close to the doc. In return, Madden got Del to help him carry the trunk (with Erica inside) onto a plane. Back in the hospital, Di, JR and Jamie all decided to work together to stop Madden. Di informed the two that Del was taking care of him right now. Unfortunately, Di didn’t know it was Madden taking care of Del. After drinking obviously drugged water, Del collapsed, leaving Madden alone on the plane with Erica.
At Coma Kendall’s bedside, Bianca begged her sister to come back to them. She could already tell Spike would be a handful. “I don’t think Maggie and I could take it,” she told her sister, “I don’t think we could survive Hurricane Spike. He needs his mom.” Meanwhile, out in the hall, Zach refused to go anywhere with Derek; he wasn’t leaving his wife. Ryan convinced Zach to go about this the right way and he could get back to Kendall within a couple of hours. Livia could meet them at the station and Zach would be out on bail. Zach finally agreed, but first had to say goodbye to Kendall. He slipped her wedding ring back on her finger and pledged his love before allowing the officers to escort him to jail. Binks and Ryan went back to Kendall’s beside. They were devastated they were losing her. While Ryan told Kendall all about Spike, Bianca retrieved Spike’s baby blanket and brought it back to her sister so a part of Spike could be with her. In his jail cell, a devastated Zach had a hallucination of his wife fading and yelled for someone to release him. He needed to get to Kendall.
