Locked in the fertility clinic, a desperate Greenlee announced: “We girls get me pregnant right here, right now.” Um, you’re losing it, Kendall countered. Before the gals could all duke it out, they realized the clinic was about to open. Sure enough, a noise proved someone was already there. Thanks to Simone’s brilliant common sense, they were discovered — by a very good-looking gentleman. They tried to cover, but he wasn’t buying. The ladies explained the entire situation to the stranger who asked, “Why not go through the proper channels?” That’s easy, said Greenlee, the owner is heartless. Kendall was pleading for him to let Greenlee go when they heard Greg’s voice. The mystery gentleman walked out into the hallway and it was discovered that the man in question was Josh, Greg’s son. Bet Greenlee’s wishing she hadn’t called the owner heartless now!
While over at Ryan’s, David noticed Mr. Lavery’s very battered six-pack. “What the hell happened to you?” he demanded. Ryan tried to explain he was mugged, but David didn’t buy it. “You’re kind of big to get mugged, don’t you think?” David berated Ryan for his recent behavior, pointed out he was looking for trouble. Ryan snapped and started to strangle Hayward. The episode ended with the doc falling lifeless to the floor.
Babe hoped Dixie could bring back to soft side of JR. Not likely, said Jamie. Jamie and Babe agreed to wait until the dust settled to see how this affected things. Does she tell Krystal that Tad is going back to Dixie? Too soon to call, Jamie declared and then left. Alone with Babe, Amanda busted her bubble about Di/Dixie, and told her not to get her hopes up. After she left Babe’s, Amanda went over to Aidan’s. Seems she wants him.
While Tad was packing up Dixie’s things, Opal came over, thrilled by the news Dix was still alive. (Palmer told her.) Two seconds later, Joe walked in. Then came Brooke. Seems like the family wanted to party — everyone except Tad. Tad explained Dixie had posed as Di for weeks. Once Jamie arrive, he announced to the group he and Dixie weren’t getting back together. “Neither one of us is the same, ” he stated, and seem convinced, despite Opal’s pleas for him to reconsider.
At the Chandler Mansion, Di/Dixie returned to a waiting Adam and JR. Adam blamed Dixie for JR’s current troubles. “You have forfeited the right to love him!” he yelled. She claimed he was just afraid she would take their son away from him. Was he mad that she hurt JR? Or PO’ed she wasn’t really dead. As the battle between Dixie/Di and Adam heated up, JR stepped in. “You will never go after my mother again,” he proclaimed. Does he believe her now? Di/Dixie wondered after Adam left. JR wasn’t sure. He still couldn’t understand how his mother could do something like this. She tried to explain, with tears rolling down her cheeks, how hard it was for her to lose baby Kate. She didn’t know if she could come back and slip right back into her old life. Then she met a nanny in Germany and she figured out how she could be with JR, without being her. “I want to be your mom again,” she begged. Could he forgive her? she asked. He pulled out the star necklace (Hello, Shop the Soaps!) and put it around her neck for her. “You are my sunshine,” she said (not sang) as they shared a tearful hug.
