Babe was shaken by the recording of Greg’s final words. When Ryan ran into her at the Miranda Center, Babe asked him to leave her alone. She denied it when Ryan inferred that Babe was at the center because JR had hurt her. Ryan then returned home, where he found Annie out on the balcony. Annie stonewalled him when Ryan started asking her questions about her past. Ryan then tricked Annie into exposing herself as a fraud (i.e., not a former classmate of Erin’s). “Who are you really?” he asked. He told Annie that if she was in some kind of trouble, he wanted to help. Annie’s response was to dart upstairs.
JR confronted Josh at the hospital and demanded to know where Babe was. Josh denied having any awareness of Babe’s whereabouts. JR said he would kill Josh if Josh had done anything to Babe.
Babe returned home with Little Adam and evaded Krystal’s questions about where she’d been. Krystal was freaked out by Babe’s demeanor but agreed to watch Little A. for her. “Did JR really do it?” gasped Krystal after Babe announced that she might have to leave town that night. “JR might have done it,” Babe admitted reluctantly. Krystal wanted to flee with Babe.
At the casino bar, Zach invited David to join him for a drink. David asked Zach point-blank if he had stuffed Greg in a coffin. Aidan joined in and demanded to know what Greg told David right before he died. David huffed that Zach was the person Aidan should be interrogating and stormed out.
Kendall received a visit from Erica, who could tell her daughter was preoccupied by something. Erica assumed Zach was to blame for Kendall’s upset; Kendall took offense. Kendall rolled her eyes when Erica gave her a framed photo of Kendall, Spike and Ryan. Kendall then asked Erica what she was hiding about Greg. Erica squirmed when Kendall said she knew Erica’s secret. Just then, Zach returned home to relieve Kendall, giving Zach the chance to tell Erica that while he hadn’t told Kendall about Josh, they had a new problem, which is that Greg might have fathered Spike. Zach comforted a devastated Erica.
Di was impressed when she stopped by Fusion’s new club, ConFusion, which was still being readied for its opening. Erin told Di there were no job openings; Di then began to probe her for info about why she dumped Aidan. Erin insisted that sometimes relationships just don’t work out. When Jamal came in carrying some boxes, Erin had a brainstorm and surprised him with a kiss for Di’s benefit. After Di left, Jamal told Erin there was no reason to apologize for the stunt. “Anything for the cause,” he chuckled…. Di met back up with Aidan and reported that Erin was seeing someone new. Aidan and Di decided to have some drinks. Jamal told Erin that Annie was still far from safe.
When Erin returned to the penthouse, Ryan confronted her about Annie. “Tell me the truth, Erin,” her brother implored. Annie came back downstairs and Erin revealed that Annie was on the run.
Kendall interrupted Josh and JR’s tête-à-tête and told JR to get out. He complied. Josh told Kendall he didn’t have the DNA results yet. The nurse then delivered the papers. After scanning them, Josh told Kendall that there were enough genetic markers linking him to Spike that, since they themselves weren’t related (to their knowledge), Greg had to be Spike’s biological father. Josh gave Kendall a shoulder to cry on.
