Zoe came to Bianca’s place to return the doll that Miranda had left for her.
The warmth between Zoe and Bianca was obvious as they discussed how Miranda
sees Zoe as a girl. Maggie showed up and warned Bianca that getting involved
with Zoe could end up breaking her heart. Binks sniffed that Maggie didn’t
show a similar concern when she was the one hurting Bianca. Zoe filled in
Bianca on her encounter at the park with Maggie, admitting that she’d called
Maggie a fool for cheating on Bianca.
Zach and Kendall prepared to open their home for the fund-raiser for the
Amelia Cambias Foundation (really, they were trying to lure the killer out
of hiding). Ryan brought Zach the note the killer left for Ryan at the
funeral home. Zach continued to be tormented by memories of Amelia; Kendall
and Ryan continued to clash over the subject of Annie and Emma.
At the Chandler manse, Babe pleaded with JR not to tell Adam the truth about
Krystal’s pregnancy but pledged to stand by JR no matter what he decides to
do. When JR called Babe out about kissing Josh on New Year’s, she swore that
the buss was a good-bye lip lock and nothing more. Downstairs, Tad was able
to talk Adam and Krystal into allowing Babe to attend the Amelia Cambias
bash.
The party got underway at Zach and Kendall’s. Everyone was on high alert,
anticipating that the killer would make his or her move at some point.
Despite the security measures in place at the party, Babe was snatched away
— by Josh, as it turned out. Babe reiterated to Josh that her heart lies
with JR and Little Adam and gave him yet another good-bye kiss — which JR
spied.
Jamie convinced Julia not to attend the party because Kathy would be left
motherless if anything happened to Julia…. At the park, things were
initially tense between Annie and Julia when the women (towing Emma and
Kathy, respectively) ran into each other and the little girls wanted to play
together. Annie was snarky to Julia until Julia explained how her poisonous
experience with Greg led her to steal Annie’s medical records back when Tad
was trying to figure out if Emma was his daughter. After Annie accepted her
apology, Julia invited Annie and Emma to move into Wildwind.
As part of their plan to recreate the circumstances of Amelia’s last night
alive, Kendall (dressed like Amelia) positioned herself on the parapet. A
male gasped Amelia’s name when he saw her and put a hand on her shoulder….
