Babe was by Zarf’s side when Derek questioned him down at the police
station. Di and Aidan waited outside, eager for answers. Jonathan was there,
too, certain that Zarf is the guilty party. Di tried to get Jon to calm
down. Jon barged into the interrogation room and tried to choke Zarf. The
cops restrained him. Babe ushered Zarf out of the station. “Don’t leave
town,” commanded Derek…. Babe took Zarf back to the Chandler manse, where
Zarf told Babe, “I’m a woman.” Babe met Zarf’s admission with unconditional
acceptance.
Zach opened up to Mrytle about the connection between his past and the
murders.
Ryan informed Kendall that he was keeping Spike with Annie until the
murderer is caught. Kendall surprised Ryan with the news that she knows aout
the link between Zach and the killer. Kendall’s displeasure (and jealousy)
increased when Ryan divulged that he will be living in the penthouse with
their son, Emma and Annie. Zach returned home and Ryan confronted him about
Tad’s warnings about Spike. Zach told Ryan everything he knew about the
ribbons and gardenias. Ryan told Kendall he wanted to stay away from Spike
until the killer was nabbed.
Josh ranted to Bianca about the danger Babe might be in due to her proximity
to Zarf. Josh made it clear that he was going to keep fighting for Babe
(with Kendall’s help). Josh wouldn’t reveal why Kendall agreed to be his
accomplice. Bianca complained to Josh about what happened with Zarf at her
place before the ConFusion party. Josh was familiar with transgenders and
Binks admitted that Zarf’s story had gotten to her. Josh was open to the
possibility that Zarf’s story was true and noted that it would actually
explain a
few things about his first meeting with Zarf. Binks was alarmed, feeling
terrible that she might have mistreated Zoe.
At the penthouse, Annie tended to Emma and Spike. Emma asked Annie if Ryan
could be her daddy. “Ryan is our friend,” said Annie. When Jon returned home
in a rage, Annie put Emma to sleep and listened to Jon rant about how the
cops left Zarf go free. When Ryan returned home, Annie filled Ryan in about Jon’s outburst.
