Bianca was mortified when she came by Erica’s room and deduced that Jeff had
spent the night. She told La Kane that she hates what her mom is doing to
Jack.

In the Chandler living room, Krystal challenged JR to expose to Adam and Tad
why he had been tormenting Babe before her death. “You don’t want to do
this,” JR insisted. He surprised Krystal by not revealing her secret and
covering for her before his dads. Alone with Tad, JR broke down in tears of
self-recrimination. He then talked privately to Krystal and swore he would
never tell Adam the truth; Krystal didn’t believe him. JR next apologized to
Colby for the way he went off on her before and his kindness to his sister
seemed to thaw Krystal ever so slightly.

At Wildwind, the heavy-hearted residents prepared to leave for the joint
funeral for Babe and Dixie. Amanda opened the front door and was shocked by
who had come to call: Janet, accompanied by an attendant from the mental
facility…. Upstairs, Jonathan expressed to Annie his enthusiastic approval
of her romance with Ryan. Annie warned him that she and Ryan were not headed
for a happily-ever-after…. Jon was kind to Janet when he came downstairs
and saw her. He advised Janet to let people, especially Amanda, take time to
get used to the improvement in her condition.

At the casino, all hell broke loose when there was a security violation.
Zach pulled a gun on the apparent predator but calmed down when the visitor
turned out to be Jenkins, who told Zach that his mother forgave him for
killing her. “I’ll never forgive myself,” sighed Zach to Kendall after
Jenkins left. Erica interrupted by arriving with the declaration, “You’re
going to that funeral over my dead body.” Zach agreed that Kendall wouldn’t
be safe at the service and she agreed to stay behind. La Kane was baffled by
Kendall’s lack of protest and expressed to Kendall her dismay over Josh’s
disappearance. Kendall refused to help her mom find Josh. Erica confessed to
Kendall that she’d spent the night with Jeff; Kendall gave her the cold
shoulder and more or less threw Erica out.

At the cemetery, Ryan told Jack about his latest note from the killer. Ryan
didn’t understand why he was the killer’s contact person. Jack told Ryan
that he had heard from Greenlee. More mourners, including Tad and Zach,
trickled in. Tad lost his cool when funeral workers carried in gardenias
that had been delivered for Babe and Dixie; Derek got the offending
arrangements out of sight. JR arrived and told Zach he was responsible for
the deaths of both women. The seats began to fill as Jamie, Amanda, Opal,
Palmer, Julia, Del, Di, Bianca, Aidan, Jonathan, Colby, Krystal, Joe,
Myrtle, Myrtle and Zoe came to pay their respects. Erica and Jack exchanged
a tense look when she arrived with Jeff.

As the service got underway, Adam spoke (expressing regret over how mean
he’d been to the departed), followed by Bianca (who declared that she now
forgave Babe for keeping her from her child), Tad (who spoke of the first
time he met Dix and had to be helped away by Jamie when he became
overwhelmed) and Di. Krystal collapsed in pain over Babe’s coffin; Adam and
Colby helped her up. Zoe sang “You Lift Me Up” as the mourners placed roses
on the coffins.

In an undisclosed location, Babe was revealed to be alive.
