Zach delivered the bad news of Simone’s overdose to the Fusion gals. They
were in shock, but Zach couldn’t help but wonder is someone gave Simone the
drug on purpose. Zach asked the girls if anything out of the ordinary had
happened before Simone’s death. Cue Zarf’s entrance. The rock star
apologized for upsetting the Fusion girls with his odd outlook on Simone’s
death. Zach and Ryan’s curiosity was piqued when Zarf mentioned he was also
sorry Simone wasn’t interested in him, because if she had been, perhaps
she’d still be alive. When Zach and Ryan wondered if Zarf was the one who
gave Simone the drug, he told everyone to ask Kendall. Then, mysteriously,
Zarf just walked out. Kendall was obviously shaken, so Zach, Ryan, Dani and
Binks convinced her to go home to Spike. Later, Zach called on of his
contacts to investigate Zarf… Meanwhile, down at Confusion, Erin was
distraught over Simone’s death. “No one hurts my family and gets away with
it,” she vowed, considering Simone a family member. Aidan comforted Erin
with a hug — just as Di entered the bar.

At New Beginnings, Sean walked into Erica’s office and planted a big fat wet
one on his aunt’s lips as a “good-bye.” When she recovered from the initial
shock of being kissed by the youngster, Erica questioned his reasons for
leaving town. Sean poured his heart out to Erica. In his mind, he already
ruined Erica’s marriage to Travis and he was convinced he was causing her
problems with his Uncle Jack. Erica assured the young boy that he wasn’t the
end of Travis/Erica and the problems she had with Jack weren’t his fault
either. “Well, is it because of that other guy?” Sean wondered. Just then,
that “other guy” walked in with lunch for La Kane. Before heading back to
school, Sean warned Jeff (in his own unique way) to stay away from Erica.

JR freaked out when he discovered Babe in his house. As Julia and Jamie took
JR up to his room, Babe, Adam, Krystal and Dixie stayed behind. Julia tried
to calm JR down and started to do acupuncture again. “You want to take away
the pain? Get Babe Carey out of my house,” an especially grumpy JR barked.
Meanwhile, downstairs Dixie surprisingly took Babe’s side and advised her
daughter-in-law to stay and fight for JR — as long as Babe was there for
love… After Jamie and Julia left, Adam went to visit JR. He attempted to
give JR advice about his love for Babe. “Since when did you start talking
like a romance advice columnist?” JR spat, then asked Adam if he’d ever
forgive Krystal if she cheated on him. “I don’t know,” Adam admitted. When
JR wondered why his dad would preach to him about this then, Dixie walked in
and answered, “Because your father knows what you don’t. Your heart is
bigger than his will ever be.” After offering their advice, JR’s parents
left. He wasn’t alone for long, however, because Babe walked in.
