At the manse, Krystal and Babe discussed Dixie’s determination to reveal the
truth about the paternity of Krystal’s baby. Colby thanked Adam and JR for her gift and hinted at the surprise gift she had in store for JR. When pressed, she divulged that she was getting the 411 on Babe via a Webcam.

Dixie stopped by Tad’s; no one was home. She opened the door expecting to find Tad, but Father Clarence was on the doorstep. Dix was stunned
when Clarence said he was there to see her and called her by name. He further freaked her out with his typical “I know things about you that no one else does” Christmas style — in this instance that Dix was eager to tell Tad about Kate. Dix wasn’t comforted when Clarence told her that Kate was where God wanted her to be, saying, “My child should be with me. She should
be with Tad.” Clarence made Dixie rethink her plan to publicize the paternity of Krystal’s baby. She then returned to the Chandler manse and walked in to the living room to find Adam, Krystal, Colby, JR, Babe and Little Adam greatly enjoying their togetherness. Adam found her in the hallway with a pensive expression on her face and asked her if she was okay.
Krystal quietly observed them from inside the living room, then joined them and told Dixie, “I’ll say what needs to be said.” … JR tenderly touched Babe’s arm; they exchanged a warm glance.

At Wildwind, the gang convened in the living room to hang out and decorate. Julia announced that she was getting “the best Christmas present” — a visit from two old pals, Jim and Linda. Tad meandered through the woods and Jamie
and Julia spotted him when they opened the front door. Tad came in from the cold but insisted that he couldn’t stay, and he wandered back into the night. Bearing gifts for his roomies, Del entered in a Santa costume (half of one, anyway). Jonathan, of course, had a tough time getting into the holiday
spirit.

A terrible car accident happened. EMTs were on the scene, pulling the victims from the wreckage.
