Zach burst in on Tad and ordered him to stop trying to cast suspicion on Dixie for Greg’s murder. Tad recounted Zach’s litany of sins: Maria Grey, Jonathan, the blackout — and said he knows Zach wasn’t with Dixie the night Greg was buried. Zach asked if Tad would fabricate evidence, but Tad replied there’s no need: He saw Zach bury Greg! Tad claimed he saw Zach and Dixie put something big — big like a body — in her car. Then he spotted the car abandoned at the park, then tailed it to the casino, where he checked the trunk and found it empty. Zach accused him of hating Dixie so much that he’d lie to put her in jail, adding that Kate is better off with a stranger than “a parent like you.”

JR worried about Babe, who was at that moment returning home to a worried Krystal, who grilled her about Josh. They bickered and Colby eavesdropped. Krystal told Babe about JR’s beating, and advised her not to mention spending the night with Josh. When JR was discharged he ran into a snarky David, who was confident the evidence would convict Dixie. Babe insisted nothing happened with Josh, even though they shared a room. Colby came forward to snipe at Babe. Then Krystal said she sent Colby’s party dress back because it was too expensive. JR and Adam returned, and JR demanded to know where Babe was last night. Back at the hospital, Dixie apologized to David for saying horrible things and leading him on when she first returned. She wants to be friends again. Babe recounted her night with Zarf and the shooters. JR was proud that she “totally scored on your trip,” and they snuggled. Colby moaned about her dress, then asked Babe if she and Josh scored autographs? The reference to Josh confused JR, and Colby said she thought Krystal said Babe spent the night with Josh.

Josh found Erica waiting in his room with breakfast and a request to start a relationship with him. He shocked her by revealing he spent last night with Babe. Erica admitted she pressed her mother’s buttons the exact same way and begged to be part of his life. He wondered if she poisoned his juice the way she poisoned Greg. Furious, he told her, “You don’t get a beginning with someone you tried to terminate,” and slammed the door in her face.

Kendall thanked Ryan for spending the night, but worried because Spike wasn’t crying, so she woke him up. Ryan was confident Derek has gotten word they spent the night together. Kendall wondered what Ryan expects in return? He insisted he’s just happy to be Spike’s dad, and suggested a trip to the park, which set off a bonding-over-baby musical montage.

David said he cares about Dixie and always will, and agreed to be friends. When she left he revealed he was faking, and vowed to make sure she never gets Kate back.

Tad bristled at Zach’s mention of Kate, and Zach warned him away. Then Derek burst in. He had the house bugged, so now he’s got all the evidence he needs. Tad will be the star witness for the prosecution.
