While Zach was searching for the mysterious person he thought he saw, he was thrown to the ground by an unseen force. Julia approached him as he lay unconscious. When she reached out to touch him, he woke up and grabbed her arm. Julia told Zach she was living in Wildwind. Zach implied that it’s more like she was hiding out there. Julia walked Zach through the house at gunpoint. She said she was no longer in the witness protection program, but Zach didn’t buy it. She asked Zach for Maria’s or Edmund’s phone number, but Zach said first he needed to get Julia out of the house before she’s found.
Greg admitted to Erica that he finds her very beautiful and intriguing. They talked about the first time he saw her, many years ago at a conference. He said when he caught her eye he felt it was love at first sight. He said he approached her and gave her an Indian head penny for good luck. Greg admitted, though, that he was engaged when he saw Erica, and that he went on to get married and have kids. He regretted that now that he’s seen her again, this time it’s she who is attached. Erica then changed the subject to Greenlee’s situation. Greg said it is very serious.
Ethan told Greenlee he was sorry for her loss and said he wished he’d treated Ryan better. Ethan explained to Greenlee and Simone how he had a watch that his grandfather had given him and said that he’d like Ryan’s son or daughter to have it. “I want your baby to know that Ryan was what we all want: a father to be proud of,” Ethan said. When Kendall showed up, Greenlee talked Simone into leaving with Ethan and having some fun. Simone reluctantly took her up on the offer. After they left, Kendall said she wasn’t jealous that Ethan left with another woman. Simone asked Kendall if she ever thought she’d have kids. Kendall said she doesn’t want to deal with all the hassle of raising a kid and that she doesn’t have anyone she loves. Greenlee told Kendall that some day she’ll find love again and want to have kids. Kendall admitted that she envied the love Greens shared with Ryan. Later, Greenlee went to the bathroom, and she came back looking panicked and told Kendall that something isn’t right.
When alone together in Ethan’s room, Simone and Ethan set up a game of bowling with a grapefruit and some water bottles. Then they hit the sheets.
Di continued to argue with JR over his vendetta with Jaime. Di said he was hurting little Adam and that it wasn’t Babe and Jaime who trashed his life but she for abandoning him. JR said that Di’s guilt didn’t absolve Babe and that he’s dishing out what she deserves. Di pointed out how JR and Babe did everything they could to keep their child while she cut him loose, and said that was unforgivable. JR hugged Di and told her he loved her. Di continued to argue with JR about giving up his vendetta for little Adam’s sake as they drove in a thunderstorm. JR said it seemed there was something wrong with the car’s brakes.
Despite Babe’s continued pleading, Jamie refused to go to medical school. Babe said he wasn’t going because he’d feel like leaving meant he’s lost to JR. Babe said that she wants a future with Jamie with a lot of kids and that kids cost money to take care of. Jamie said that Babe makes medical school seem possible, but he also said he was worried about being hundreds of miles away and leaving Babe behind to deal with JR.
After almost crashing, JR rushed to Jaime and Babe, who were lying in bed together, and accused Jaime of trying to kill him.
