Some folks dread the day the clocks turn back, but not THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS’ Adrianne Leon (Colleen).
“I love the early dark,” the romantic raves of daylight savings. “You light candles, get the fireplace going, make dinner, watch movies and cuddle.”
One would think staying home, warm and cozy, applies to those wet days, too, but for those, Leon heads out.
“I love to run and play in the rain,” she reveals. “I especially like to go to the beach in the rain, run around in the sand and get all wet. I like to take pictures like that, too.”
If that suggests too much moisture for your taste, Leon swears there’s nothing like a picnic to warm things up.
“One of my favorite things is having a picnic in the car on a rainy day,” shares the SUV driver. “My backseats collapse, so you set out a blanket, put out a little lantern and make a little dinner. If it’s a date, it’s actually quite romantic.”
The park or beach might offer a nice view, but if the rain is thick enough, she doesn’t even have to leave home. “We’ve gone to parks, but I’ve also done it in my parking lot,” Leon recounts.
“Anything weird, I love to do. I hate to be scared, though,” she confesses. “I hate when people jump out at you and freak you out…. Unless I’m with someone cute. I can scream and jump into his arms!”
