Y&R Alum Passes Away At 52
Jay Bontatibus (ex-Tony, Y&R et al) passed away on February 12 in Los Angeles surrounded by his family after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was supported by his family and many friends throughout his courageous battle. Bontatibus is best known for his portrayal of Tony on Y&R from 1998-2000, and had recurring roles on GH and PORT CHARLES (ex-Andy, 2002-03) and DAYS (ex-Rob, 2008). Bontatibus is also the ex-husband of Marnie Saitta, current casting director of DAYS. The family would like express their gratitude to the fans for the love and support they have shown for Jay during this time.
