B&B’s Wagner Out
The cuts continue at B&B, with Jack Wagner (Nick), who began on the show in 2003, joining the recently bumped Lesley-Anne Down (Jackie), Brandon Beemer (Owen) and Zack Conroy (Oliver). On www.wagnerworld.com the moderators posted, "We have just learned that Jack Wagner's option on his two year contract has not been picked up with The Bold and the Beautiful. We do not know if he will be leaving the show or staying on recurring basis, but with his lack of storyline in recent years, we highly doubt we will be seeing much more of Nick Marone. With Leslie-Anne Down's contract also not renewed and Brandon Beemer's move to recurring, it looks like the ship has sailed on the Morone clan." Could Wagner, who played GH's Frisco on and off from 1983-91, and again in 1995, return to his old stomping grounds now that Finola Hughes and Tristan Rogers (Anna and Robert) are back? This news comes hot on the heels of Wagner's very public and nasty split with Heather Locklear (ex-Amanda, MELROSE PLACE).
