(Maxie, GH)
“Probably back when Maxie was stealing drugs from the hospital. That’s when they really started to make Maxie bad and had her getting in between the Lucky/Elizabeth relationship. Even coming into the show as a new person, I knew who Lucky and Elizabeth were, so when I started reading those scripts I was like, ‘Wait a minute!’ That could’ve been a character
killer for me!”

Vilasuso (Rey,

“I would say the death of Catalina on GUIDING LIGHT
[where he played Tony] when she
was beaten with a statue. That was pretty dark.”

Sweeney (Sami, DAYS)
“The time that Sami drugged Carrie and put her in bed with Lucas on New Year’s Eve. When you turned that page in the script, it was a fun shocker. That was when we realized that Sami would be scheming.”

Ainsworth (Kristina, GH)
“When Alexis ran [Kristina’s abusive boyfriend] Keifer over with her car. I was just not at all expecting that. I thought, ‘Oh, maybe there will be a trial.’ Then he died and I was like, ‘Whoa, that was sudden!’ ”

(Carter, B&B)
“Nothing has yet to top when Carter found out that Maya, his ex-fiancée and the woman he loved, was trans-gender. That was such a great story! Karla [Mosley, Maya] did such an amazing job with it, and it was written with such care and integrity. I was so happy to see it get all the attention and acclaim that it deserved, and I was very proud to be a part of that.”

(Liam, B&B)
“Wow, there have been a number over the years, but I’d have to say the whole storyline with Rena [Sofer, Quinn] and myself in the cabin. I loved the fact that we finally got to see some of Quinn’s backstory, which explained why this woman was the way that she was, and Rena really made the most of it. It was very different, which made it really exciting to play.”
