“I try to share my belief that you can do good work and at the same time have a great time doing it. If you work hard and you know your lines and you’re on time and you do the best that you can, then it’s okay to have a laugh and to share a joke and to relax a little bit at the same time. I think sometimes people will burn out too quickly and be very, very hard on themselves. In today’s climate, with soap opera shooting so quick, you have to relax and take some deep breaths and not be hard on yourself, because we’re not always gonna hit it out of the ballpark every time.”

“Keep it going while you can because you never know what’s around the corner, and that’s not just with the business. That goes for life, too. Always take the meeting and keep an open mind, because sometimes you think you’re going to hate something and then you actually end up falling in love with it. That has happened to me many times in my career.”
