“If I have a lot of monologues, I like to get those things down. If someone is on set, I like to pull my pages for the next day and then be able to run lines with them. I try to prepare and I usually have a book or some kind of podcast, as well.”

“Sometimes I will get into my writing projects either by myself or over Skype with my partner. Other times I’ll go for walks in The Grove [shopping complex] because I’m a people watcher.”

Sal Stowers (Lani, DAYS)
“I feel like I’m always in Marci Miller’s [Abigail] room. We can talk all day. We always have lunch together, so that’s something I always do to pass the time. I love just being with one of my castmates.”

“Run lines, but if it’s something like a wedding where we are just kind of in the audience and I don’t have to worry so much about lines, then I’m getting to get to know everyone because I’m still somewhat new, and I love hearing everyone’s stories and learning more about my co-stars.”

“With something like the Nurses’ Ball, you’re on set and you’re not leaving the set, so you can’t do much to pass the time except try to stay quiet and not tick off our executive producer by talking too much while he’s trying to get stuff done! Otherwise, you try to find your scene partner to rehearse; that’s probably the number one thing. Sometimes, I’ll try to grab a castmate and go grab a bite somewhere more interesting than the GH commissary and get to know them a bit. I enjoy that. Tamara [Braun, Kim] and I just went to lunch, in fact. If there’s a lot of time, I may run home and let the dogs out or try to get a workout in.”

“I joke around with everybody, just to be funny and entertain — and then [Supervising Producer] Ed Scott yells at me and that’s funny. It makes me laugh. So, anything that gets Ed Scott to yell at me is priceless.”

“I work out in my room, make necessary phone calls and memorize the next day’s lines. Multi-tasking is what I do best.”
