Eden McCoy (Josslyn, GH): “One thing we do that we love is we cover our formal dining room table with butcher paper under the placemats and we all write down compliments with different colored markers about whoever is at the table and also things we are grateful for. When everyone goes to sit down for dinner, it’s really fun to read what everyone wrote.”
Kimberlin Brown (Sheila, B&B): “We make everything from scratch. We don’t get anything that’s ready-made. I cook the turkey and stuff it, and my mom brings the pies. To make the best pie in the world, you have to be able to make your own pie crust, and I do have my grandmother’s recipe for that.”
Billy Flynn (Chad, DAYS): “The last couple of years, we’ve gone to my wife, Gina’s, side of the family, down in Orange County. It’s usually tight-knit. There’s her mother, her sister, and her sister’s husband and, occasionally, a couple of her mother’s friends.”
Joshua Morrow (Nick, Y&R): “Watch the Dallas Cowboys game. When I was young, my mom would schedule the Thanksgiving dinner around the game. My sisters complained that I was spoiled and that Mom loved me the most. Watching the Cowboys game on Thanksgiving is still an annual tradition for me, although I can’t get my sons into it.”
Christopher Sean (Paul, DAYS): “I always go to my dad’s place. He makes enough turkey for seven families. The guy loads the table up. My mom will also make Japanese dishes. Literally, we come home, and there are leftovers for a month.”
Kin Shriner (Scott, GH): “Going to someone else’s house.”
Melissa Claire Egan (Chelsea, Y&R): “Eat, drink and relax. It sounds simple, but that’s what we look forward to every year.”
