“Mine was GH, the Luke and Laura characters. I loved them. They were my favorites. I know this sounds weird, because in the storyline he actually raped her, right? But the love story went beyond that, the way they shot it, the music … It was romantic, the way they did it. And I love love stories. My sister would always have the show on, and I’d start looking at it after school, but then I’d have to go to dance class. She’d put the VHS tape in and tape it for me so I could watch it afterward. That one I got hooked on really fast. I remember it to this day, just little moments of it and songs that they played.”

(Curtis, GH)
“I liked [GH’s] Luke because he was a bad boy. He kind of had a middle finger up. And then relevant to that time, his hair was everything! I was asking my mom if I could have his hairstyle. From his appearance to the way he delivered his lines, which now I know was mostly improv, he was awesome to me. I wanted to be him. He did a good job of carving himself out as a hero in my mind.”
Lisa LoCicero (Olivia, GH)
“I loved Robert Scorpio, as everyone knows. I loved Duke, I loved Anna. I mean, I used to race home from school to watch GH, so I could go on and on about all my favorites!”
Sean Dominic (Nate, Y&R)
“[Y&R’s] Victor — the epitome
of cool under pressure. Also, Neil because
[portrayer] Kristoff St. John was a beast of an actor.”
Melissa Ordway (Abby, Y&R)
“Without a doubt, Victor and Nikki were my favorite characters. They are true Y&R royalty!”
Jen Ray (Chelsea, GH)
“I would say [GH’s] Luke and Laura, then Robin and Jason and then Frisco and Felicia. I remember when my girlfriends got together to watch the Luke and Laura wedding. The day I came in for my audition, I saw the big picture of the wedding in the hallway and one of my dearest friends was auditioning with me. I was like, ‘Here, take a picture of me and Luke and Laura’s wedding!’ ”
