Olivia Rose Keegan (Claire, DAYS)
“I get a lot of people who can’t separate me from the character. They tweet me saying, ‘You’re the most annoying person in the world. Leave Salem. We hate you.’ That means that I’m doing my job, because you’re not necessarily supposed to like Claire. It took a while to realize that, but now it’s a feeling of, ‘Thank you. That’s what I’m supposed to do.’ ”
Joshua Morrow (Nick, Y&R)
“People questioning my ability to portray somebody other than puppy-like Nick. That to me, was a critique I didn’t quite enjoy but I learned a long time ago that you can’t please everybody. People get accustomed to one thing and they don’t like change very much. But I’m having a blast and really appreciate the way my character is being written. Hopefully, fans will enjoy it as much as I am.”
Courtney Hope (Sally, B&B)
“I love when people say that Sally is sassy or that she has spunk, because I think she does, too.”
Bryton James (Devon, Y&R)
“Anytime that I read that I’m boring, it makes me pay attention and try to bring something different or unexpected to scenes. Anytime I see that, it’s a nice motivation.”
Kin Shriner (Scott, GH)
“That he should sue his barber!”
Darin Brooks (Wyatt, B&B)
“Whenever anybody says they love my subtlety. I make Wyatt big sometimes, just like his parents. Quinn can be big and Bill can be big but Wyatt’s his own person so there are a lot of times where I like to make subtle choices so that it gets the audience. It’s not on the page but I like to do a lot of that. If someone notices, then that’s the best compliment/criticism I can get. Any time I read that, that means the world to me because I pride myself in having big moments, but also being good at subtle moments.”
