After six episodes, BH90210 comes to a close this week but if the actors have anything to say about it, they’d be on board for a second season. “We would love to continue to work together,” states Tori Spelling (ex-Donna). “It’s been such an amazing experience. I liken it to high school when you think, ‘Oh, you never get a chance to do a do-over,’ and there were things that you know now that you didn’t know then that you would have done differently. And we get that opportunity. I think that all the time, like, ‘Wow!’ As adults, we get to revisit our old selves and our old friends and have a chance to do things differently. It’s really come full circle, but we have so many stories to tell that this could keep going on season after season, so we hope it does.” Spelling’s castmates were impressed by her commitment as one of the show’s executive producers. “She has a lot of passion for whatever she does, as we all do with this show,” raves Jennie Garth (ex-Kelly). “This is a passion project for all of us. I don’t think this show would have ever gotten made had we not had that element of passion and sometimes a little drama.” Adds Gabrielle Carteris (ex- Andrea), “Tori’s not going to toot her horn on this, but she’s very detail-oriented, and she talked about her father [the late Aaron Spelling] and how he was so focused on the work that he did to always make sure every detail was done, and her commitment to that was clear throughout the show…. She was really helping, coming into scenes sometimes that she wasn’t even in, just to make sure we were able to execute. We were writing on the go so we had scripts, but we were rewriting the whole time, and she was very involved with that.” Shares Spelling, “It was a fun journey to take. Everyone’s been talking about a reboot for years, and the fans have wanted it. We just didn’t want to do the straightforward reboot. You can’t ever top the amazing 10 years we had when we started 30 years ago, so we wanted to do something fresh and groundbreaking, just like the original.

On tonight’s episode the cast celebrates the wrap of the pilot, but the looming news of a pickup keeps them all on edge; Ian realizes his relationship with Anna might be a little too casual; Jennie thinks Wyatt might be in too deep; Tori is frustrated with Nate; Shay drops a major bombshell on Brian; Jason and Camille come to a realization about their marriage; Gabrielle introduces her husband to Christine; and Shannen stresses about the future.
