What store could you browse in for hours?
“Any kind of a cook store, like a Williams Sonoma or Sur La Table.”

What’s the oddest thing that a fan ever asked you to autograph?
“During the whole storyline where Sheila was swapping babies [on Y&R, circa 1991], I had someone come up to me and ask me to sign their baby. I did say, ‘I hope you’re going to wash this off!’ ”

What’s your favorite way to spend a Sunday?
“To go up to wine country with my husband, have a beautiful lunch and do a bit of wine tasting, and then meet with friends for dinner on the way back home. Then, when we get home, we’ll put the fireplace on outside in the backyard and just visit.”

What song always makes you smile every time you hear it?
“ ‘American Woman’. It makes me dance, too.”

Has anyone ever made you starstruck?
“I met Lucille Ball at CBS when we were all in a fashion show together years ago, and I think that was the first time I was ever actually starstruck. I grew up watching I LOVE LUCY and to be in her presence, and for her be as kind and accommodating as she was, it was just amazing.”
