Three Soap Alums Pass Away

Three soap alums passed away: Candice Earley Nolan (ex-Donna, ALL MY CHILDREN) died on on January 31. The actress, who was 68 at the time of her death, died from Multiple Systems Atrophy. Earley appeared on ALL MY CHILDREN from 1976-92 and made visits in 1993 and 1995. To read her full obituary, click here. Carmen Duncan (ex-Iris, ANOTHER WORLD) has passed away over the weekend after a battle with cancer. Duncan played the role of Iris from 1988-94. The actress, who was 76 at the time of her death, had previously overcome breast and colon cancer. She was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in 2017. Her niece, Jess Orcsik’s company The American Arts Film and Television Academy, will be offering to scholarships in the actress’s memory to provide young actors a chance to establish themselves in the United States, as her aunt had done. Finally, Julie Adams (ex-Paula, CAPITOL) passed away on February 3. The actress, who played the role from 1983-87, was 92 at the time of her death. The actress had a long list of credits, but is perhaps best known for her portrayal of Kay Lawrence in the film The Creature From The Black Lagoon.
