The CW Announces New Lineup

The CW announced today that the shows they renewed will not begin airing until January of 2021, due to the coronavirus shutdown. DYNASTY, which was recently renewed for a fourth season will not debut until midseason in 2021. TELL ME A STORY, which was just acquired from CBS All Access will bow in the fall on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET. Paul Wesley (ex-Max, GUIDING LIGHT), Billy Magnussen and Spencer Grammar (ex-Casey and ex-Lucy, AS THE WORLD TURNS) are all featured. SUPERNATURAL, starring Jensen Ackles (ex-Eric, DAYS), was supposed to wrap up its run this spring, but will return in the fall to air their final seven episodes. Returning in January, are ALL AMERICAN, starring Taye Diggs (ex-Angelo, EMPIRE), on Monday nights at 8 p.m. ET and RIVERDALE, starring Mark Consuelos (ex-Mateo, ALL MY CHILDREN, which keeps its 8 p.m. ET time slot. SUPERMAN & LOIS, which stars Erik Valdez (ex-Trey, GH), will air on Tuesday nights at 9 p.m. ET. WALKER, starring Lindsey Morgan (ex-Kristina, GH), Keegan Allen (ex-Toby, PLL) and Mitch Pileggi (ex-Harris, DALLAS) will air on Thursday nights at 8 p.m.  ET. In addition to DYNASTY, IN THE DARK, starring Casey Deidrick (ex-Chad, DAYS), and ROSWELL, NEW MEXICO, starring Nathan Parsons (ex-Ethan, GH), will also be airing new episodes midseason. A renewal decision on KATY KEENE, starring Lucy Hale (ex-Aria, PRETTY LITTLE LIARS) is expected in June.
