Susan Lucci (ex-Erica, ALL MY CHILDREN) appeared on GOOD MORNING AMERICA this morning to discuss a recent health scare. The actress had one artery that was 90 percent blocked and another that was 75 percent blocked, which required stenting. This past October, she had two instances of chest pain, and shares, “I thought it was nothing. I thought it was going to pass.” But a third incident, which took place in a boutique, led to a visit to the hospital. “I was just shocked. Thank goodness that I was not home, because had I not been home I probably would have said, ‘I just need to lay down, I’ll have some water.’ ” The actress admits it was a wake-up call. “It shook me up; it shook my confidence and my health,” she says.
