Real-life pals Chloe Lanier (Nelle, GH) and Brytni Sarpy (Elena, Y&R) are teaming up to raise money for a good cause, Next For Autism. Explains Lanier, “Brytni and I are teaming up for the Nextercise Challenge run by the organization Next For Autism. They provide money for a plethora of services for families dealing with autism, who are incredibly impacted right now because of the coronavirus. We’re raising money for our team now through Saturday, August 15. On that day, we are going to be participating virtually; I’ll be on my Peloton and I think Brytni will be running, and all of the money that our team is raising is going to support this wonderful cause. Our team is called ‘Chlo-e-la-Bryt’ because we started watching the show BASKETS and now we’re obsessed with French accents, and it also kind of sounds like ‘colloborate’ — but anyway, we both have loved ones who have autism and I used to be a respite caregiver for children with autism, so this is a cause that is near and dear to both of us. Our goal is to raise $2500. We’re halfway there right now and we have until Saturday to reach our goal and hopefully surpass it to raise money for the 1 in 54 children in the United States who have autism and the 5,000,000 adults as well.” For more information and to make a donation, click here.
