What’s the best piece of beauty advice you got from your mom?

“Smile! My mom always says that a genuine smile is beautiful on everyone.”

What cosmetic would you love to win a lifetime supply of?

“Anything and everything from Tarte Cosmetics. I love their products, plus the brand is cruelty-free.”

What’s your skin care routine?

“At night, I begin by removing my makeup with micellar water, then I double-wash with cleanser. After, I follow with a spritz of Mario Badescu’s aloe and rose water spray. While this absorbs, I layer Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Repair Eye Serum and Eyedration Moisture Eye Crème to my undereyes. Next, I apply a vitamin C serum — great for anti-aging! — all over my face, followed by Shiseido’s Ultimune Power Infusing Concentrate. I top it all off with a moisturizing night cream; currently it’s Mario Badescu’s Seaweed Night Cream. To get my day going, I begin with a spritz of the aloe and rose water spray and finish with a daytime moisturizer with SPF.”

What’s the best makeup tip you’ve picked up from your show’s makeup artist?

“Before applying primer and foundation, make sure that your moisturizer is fully absorbed. You may think it is, but waiting a few extra minutes to let it completely settle in saves you a whole day of slippery makeup.”

What do you do when you’re having a bad hair day?

“I really don’t know how to style my hair, so when I’m having a bad hair day, rather than fight that battle, I just throw on a baseball cap and I’m ready to go.”
