Daytime alum Lori Loughlin (ex-Jody, EDGE OF NIGHT) has been dropped by her current employers, The Hallmark Channel, where she stars in its popular series WHEN CALLS THE HEART, along with the seasonal film series GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES, and Netflix, where she is a part of the FULLER HOUSE reboot. The actress and her husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were among dozens indicted for allegedly taking part in a bribery scheme designed to get their children into elite universities. In a statement from its parent company, Crown Media, reps said, “We are saddened by the recent news surrounding the college admissions allegations. We are no longer working with Lori Loughlin and have stopped development of all productions that air on the Crown Media Family Network channels including GARAGE SALE MYSTERIES, an independent third party production.” Hallmark has pulled WCTH from its schedule for this Sunday, but tweeted that it has no plans to take it off the air. “#Hearties, we assure you that Hallmark Channel has no plans to cancel When Calls the Heart,” reads a tweet from the network’s Twitter account. “Hope Valley has many more stories left to share and we will let you know the details soon.” In addition, Loughlin with not be returning for the fifth and final season of FULLER HOUSE, on Netflix.
