GH’s Vernee Watson In New CBS Series

Vernee Watson (Stella, GH), who just won a Daytime Emmy as Outstanding Supporting Actress, will appear in a new CBS series from Chuck Lorre, BOB ♥ ABISHOLA which will debut this fall. The show was announced today by the network during its upfront presentation. The release describes the comedy as “a love story about a middle-aged compression sock businessman from Detroit who unexpectedly falls for his cardiac nurse, a Nigerian immigrant, while recovering from a heart attack and sets his sights on winning her over.” Watson will play Gloria. No word yet on what this means for her GH gig.
