Frantz Gets Moore

Soap Opera Digest: Your CD Anomaly is about to come out.
Adrienne Frantz: Yep. April 3. I’m very excited. Digest: When’s the tour?
Frantz: I’m supposed to start the tour at the end of April.

Digest: Where will it kick off?
Frantz: It looks like in Australia.

Digest: How long will you be gone?

Frantz: Who knows?
Hopefully, a really long time. I’m going all over the world, but not at once. I’ll probably go somewhere, come back and go somewhere again. I’ve traveled so much as a teen, I’ve been almost everywhere in the world that I’ve wanted to go. The cool part is doing this as a musician instead.Digest: That should keep you busy for a while.
Frantz: In addition to this, I’m going to do another television show, either for MTV or E, where they follow me around on tour. So, it’s a behind-the-scenes of the tour. Digest: Well, Amber is definitely back to being the scheming temptress we knew on B&B.

Frantz: Yeah, she’s causing trouble and twisting everyone’s lives up again. Digest: How have the Y&R fans been reacting to Amber?
Frantz: I get a lot of, “I can’t believe she’s doing that!” But that means I’m doing my job. I’m not like that in real life, ladies and gentlemen. I’m really a nice person.Digest: How do you like acting with Daniel Goddard (Cane)?
Frantz: He’s been wonderful and fun. We’ve got really great chemistry that I think is very natural. We have a different dynamic, and at the same time when Amber is doing all of this horrible stuff, she really is in love with him. So she’s walking this very fine line. Even though she started doing this for the wrong reasons, there are right reasons that are happening, too. She’s very conflicted because she does love him.Digest: What is L.A. DIARIES about?
Frantz: There’s a whole backstory about how Amber got from B&B to Y&R. It’s nothing that you missed on air. It’s all original and all you have to do is go online to see how these two people became friends, how they got into so much trouble together and what really came of it. Digest: This is quite an ambitious project because it also involves Ali and Emily from ATWT.
Frantz: It’s interesting and I think it’s going to work really well in getting fans from one show to watch another show. There’s a lot more going on, like, if you want to find out the secret of this, then watch that, and you get the answer from here to see what happened there.Digest: How many Webisodes will there be of L.A. DIARIES?
Frantz: Nine or 10. All I know is we shot them all in one weekend.Digest: Will Amber also cross over to AS THE WORLD TURNS, as Emily and Ali did on Y&R?
Frantz: That’s all in talks right now. I’m not sure how that’s happening, but I heard I was going over to ATWT to do some stuff. I thought that was really cool.Digest: How did you get along with Marnie?
Frantz: I adore her! We became friends in seconds. We met and just hit it off right away. We didn’t do the L.A. DIARIES until after we did the Y&R episodes.Digest: Did you have fun sharing scenes with Kelley Menighan Hensley (Emily)?
Frantz: Oh, yes. She was great. I would love to act with her again.Digest: Will you ever go back to B&B?
Frantz: You never know. I talked to Brad [Bell, executive producer/head writer] about this and odds are I’ll probably show up there in the future. B&B is like my family. It’s fun to see them in the hall again and grab them, give them big hugs and hang out in their hair and makeup room.Digest: How can fans keep track of you after you’re gone?
Frantz: People can go on www.myspace.com, where I’ll have updates on my tours and I also have my personal blog there, too.
