Stephen Nichols (Steve), who last aired on DAYS in August 2018, is back at the set and filming again. “I got the call about a month ago,” the actor tells Digest exclusively. His reaction? “[I said] to myself, ‘Well, I’ll be damned.’ ” Nichols was thrilled to come back, and thankful for the fan support he’s gotten since his exit. “These good people who are so loyal and dedicated to supporting us, mean so much to me,” he says. “In my opinion, the most beneficial thing about social media has been connecting with the fans on a deeper level. So much so that I consider them true friends.” The show reportedly has big plans for his character, but Nichols is loath to tease what’s ahead. “You gotta’ wait and see,” he winks.
