As reported in the new issue of Digest, on sale now, DAYS’s Emmy-winning Head Writer, Ron Carlivati, has inked a new deal to remain at the show. Carlivati, who previously helmed the writing teams at ONE LIFE TO LIVE and GENERAL HOSPITAL, came to Salem in January 2017. After a critically successful first year on the job, Carlivati and Co. won the Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series at the 2018 Emmys, and the show took home trophies for Outstanding Directing and Outstanding Drama Series. “I am both thrilled and grateful to be staying put in Salem,” Carlivati tells Digest exclusively. “From day one, [Executive Producer] Ken Corday, [Co-Executive Producer] Greg Meng, and the entire cast and crew at DAYS OF OUR LIVES welcomed me into their family with open arms. It is truly and honor and a privilege to write for these wonderful characters on this legendary show.”
