DALLAS Revived!

TNT plans to launch a new version of the hit primetime soap DALLAS this fall. The series, which previously aired on CBS from 1978 to 1991, will now focus on "the offspring of bitter rivals and brothers J.R. and Bobby Ewing," according to show reps. Larry Hagman has verbally agreed to return as the Ewing family patriarch J.R., while Patrick Duffy (Stephen, B&B) and Linda Grey are said to be reprising their roles as Bobby and Sue Ellen. Deadline.com reported over the weekend that Jordana Brewster (Fast and Furious; ex-Nikki, ATWT) is the first DALLAS newcomer to be cast. She will play Elena, the daughter of a ranch cook involved with J.R.'s son John and Bobby and Pam's (then-Victoria Principal) adopted son Christopher. It was also announced that Josh Henderson (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES) will play John.
