Former B&B Producer Colleen Bell has been appointed to the post of California Film Commission Director, reports variety.com.
Bell was appointed by California Governor Gavin Newson, having worked as a consultant with the organization since 2017. Previously, she was the U.S. Ambassador to Hungary from 2014-17 under President Barack Obama.
She has held several positions at Bell-Phillip Television Productions, including producer from 2012-14, director of special projects from 2006-12, and associate producer and script supervisor from 1991-2003. Bell is the wife of B&B Executive Producer/Head Writer Bradley Bell.
