Antonio Sabato, Jr., Running For Congress

Soap vet Antonio Sabato, Jr., (ex-Jagger, GH/GH: NIGHT SHIFT; ex-Dante, B&B; ex-Jack, MELROSE PLACE)  is running for Congress in 2018, challenging Rep. Julia Brownley (D-Westlake Village), who represents the southern central coast and most of Ventura County, CA, according to documents filed with the Federal Election Commission. The Los Angeles Times reports that GOP strategist Charles Moran confirmed the run. Sabato, who also appeared on reality series such as DANCING WITH THE STARS and MY ANTONIO, was a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump during the 2016 presidential campaign and spoke on his behalf at the Republican National Convention last summer.
