He dropped out of college after one semester to pursue a career as a model and actor. Six years later, after national exposure courtesy of commercials for Hot Pockets and Pizza Hut, among others, casting director Judy Blye Wilson tapped him to play Michael Nouri's on-screen son. The L.A.-based Garrett is romantically linked to Colette Falla.
