The Philadelphia-bred Stephanie Gatschet made her soap debut in a bit part on AS THE WORLD TURNS (officially known as "Funky Teen Girl") in 1999, but became beloved by daytime audiences as GL's Tammy, a role she last played in 2008. Her AMC role was slated to be short-term, but she so impressed the higher-ups that she was quickly signed to a contract. When AMC moved to L.A. in 2010, Gatschet and her menagerie of pets drove across country to set up a West Coast home. She is currently pursuing a college degree online, majoring in Communications and Culture.
