The 411
A native of Grand Rapids, Mich., Stacy Haiduk began her career dancing and modeling. She moved to New York City at the age of 17 to pursue both and, in the process, began studying acting. Before long, things were off and running in a new direction. Haiduk first achieved national fame, when she landed a lead role in the live action television series SUPERBOY in 1988, portraying Lana Lang.
Eventually, Haiduk relocated to Los Angeles, where her career continued to flourish. She landed roles in the TV series ROUND TABLE and SEAQUEST DSV. The actress went on to star in the TV movie-of-the-week PERFECT STRANGER and was cast as the lead in the series, KINDRED: THE EMBRACED.
Over the years, Haiduk went on to recur and guest star on an array of television shows, from THE X FILES to ER, HEROES and PRISON BREAK. She delved into the world of daytime drama in 2007, when she was cast as Hannah Nichols on ALL MY CHILDREN. Haiduk's role as Mary Jane Benson/Patty Williams on Y&R marks her second soap stint.
When the actress is not working, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their daughter, Sophia, in Los Angeles.

Memorable Quote
"I've got to be honest, I don't find her that nutty. I find her broken and damaged, and I kind of feel sorry for her sometimes. I love this character and I feel for everything she's been through." — Soap Opera Digest, 8/11/09
