THE 411

Born in Anaheim Hills, Calif., Schae Harrison loved performing from an early age and enrolled in her first dance class at the age of four. Her love of dance and her skills as a choreographer eventually landed her a position with the NFL Seattle Seahawks cheerleading squad, where she stayed for three years.

Since coming to Los Angeles, Harrison has worked as a fashion model and hosted her own cable aerobic workout program. Her film credits include Twice in a Lifetime with Gene Hackman and Ann-Margret, and the Disney feature Magic Island. On the small screen, Harrison has had roles on NIGHT COURT, WHO'S THE BOSS?, STAR TREK — THE NEXT GENERATION, FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES and THROB.

A triple-threat, Harrison is also a singer. She worked on a demo tape of pop ballads and performed songs on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL CHRISTMAS ALBUM, which was a smash success in Europe. In her leisure time, the expert equestrienne also enjoys aerobic workouts, tennis and roller-skating.

MEMORABLE QUOTES

"Darla's got street smarts; she's not book smart. I know a lot of people like that. Me, myself, for example. You know what I mean? I don't really consider myself to be a stereotypical bimbo. People can have more on the ball than just being book smart." — on her character, Soap Opera Weekly, Dec. 28, 1993

"The press is the press. You cannot take it seriously; you can't. There hasn't been anything bad said about me. But there were a couple of things that I might not have agreed with. You have to let it roll of your back — what can you do? Your friends know who you really are. Your family knows you. And that's what's important." — on being in the public eye, Weekly, Dec. 28, 1993.
