BIOGRAPHY
Born into a family of all girls, Kelly Monaco was a self-proclaimed tomboy. An avid athlete, she participated in soccer, swimming, track and softball from an early age. Her first acting gig came along in a big way in 1997, when she landed the recurring role of rookie lifeguard Susan on BAYWATCH. She then moved to Los Angeles and began modeling for Playboy. Monaco segued into feature films soon after, followed by her first soap job, as PC's Livvie. In 2001, Monaco's alter ego was thrown into the sudser's most popular storyline to date, the vampire saga, with leading man Michael Easton (Caleb). Since then, the actress has proven herself in the daytime community. Her efforts were rewarded this year with a Daytime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress. With PC's cancellation, Monaco has landed a contract role on GENERAL HOSPITAL. Although her character has yet to be revealed (she won't be Livvie, the vampire), she begins airing in early October.
