Lindsay Hartley, born Lindsay Korman, was raised in Palm Springs, CA. The actress of Greek and Italian descent spent her teenage years often singing in pageants — and winning the talent competitions. By 16, she landed the role of Dorothy in McCallum Theatre's production of The Wizard of Oz, then became one of the soul sisters in Jesus Christ Superstar. The following year, the Kormans relocated to Las Vegas, NV, where she became the youngest female performer on the strip due to her lead vocalist spot in Viva Las Vegas at the Sands Hotel and Casino. Between the show and taking classes at UNLV, the singer worked on musical projects with Jackie Jackson and Robin Thicke. The Big Apple was the next stop for the 18-year-old, who moved to NYC by herself. There, she was an understudy in Broadway's Grease. When the show closed, Hartley played Maria in Civic Light Opera's West Side Story in Austin, TX. Her tour turned international when she went to the Greek Islands to play Galatea in a rock opera called Pygmalion, the True Story.
In 1998, the singer/actress finally settled down in L.A. and played the Bride of Frankenstein in Universal Studios' Beetlejuice's Rocking Graveyard Review on and off for a year. That's when an agent signed her and sent her out on two auditions; one was for PASSIONS. "I got it just like that," she told Soap Opera Weekly in 1999.
Four years after portraying PASSIONS's fate-driven Theresa Lopez-Fitzgerald, the actress found the love of her life on the set. In May 2004, she wed co-star Justin Hartley (Fox) at their home. Soon after, the couple welcomed their firstborn, Isabella.
