Hunter Tylo began her daytime career as street-smart Robin McCall on ALL MY CHILDREN, and followed with a short stint as Marina Toscano on DAYS OF OUR LIVES. In 1990, she joined THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL, which signified having roles on all three major networks.
After winning a controversial lawsuit against MELROSE PLACE producers who fired her after learning of her pregnancy in the mid-1990s, Tylo began her own non-profit organization, Hunter's Chosen Child, to assist single mothers and pregnant teens with the various challenges of motherhood. In 2000, she published her autobiography, Making a Miracle, which documented her struggles as a teen mom, her famous legal battle, and her daughter's battle with cancer, all through the perspective of her renewed Christian faith.
In October 2007, the Tylo family mourned the loss of her 19-year-old son, Michael "Mickey" Tylo, due to accidental drowning after suffering a seizure. A lawsuit for the misdiagnosis of her son is pending.

Look Who's Talking
"A lot of the hands are broken off and glued back on. I look at them and I can remember all the little things that have happened…it's a sentimental thing. Some things have been busted beyond repair, but I don't care; that's what makes it special."— on setting up miniature snow villages at Christmastime, Soapoperaweekly.com
"It would be really cool to cruise down the Amazon River and just live in the jungle for a few days. And not sleep in a tent or a hotel, just out in the open. But I wouldn't want to stay more than four days. Any more than that, I would probably start to get scared or eaten by mosquitoes."— on her dream trip, Soap Opera Digest, 5/29/07
You Shoud Hear What People Say About You!
"I have worked with Hunter, whom I love. She's a doll, so sweet. I don't think people get how funny she is."— Lesli Kay (Felicia, B&B), on her co-star, Soapoperaweekly.com
