The 411
Los Angeles, CA native Hayley Erin began acting professionally when she was still in grade school. Though she's still only a teen, she's already appeared in many popular prime-time series, including THE DISTRICT, TWO AND A HALF MEN and MODERN FAMILY, and had a recurring role on EMILY'S REASONS WHY NOT. Perhaps Erin is best known, however, for doing a parody of fellow child actress, Dakota Fanning, on the comedy sketch show MADtv.
In 2008, Erin joined Y&R as a teenaged Abby when the show decided to age the character. Thanks to her resemblance to on-screen mom, Eileen Davidson (Ashley), the young actress fit right in as Ashley and Victor's daughter. In the past year, she has had the opportunity to show off her acting abilities as Abby dealt with the deaths of her adoptive father and sister, Brad and Colleen, as well as her parents' divorce.
