The 411
Born in Memphis, TN, the daughter of nightclub entertainer David Ford and model/actress Cybill Shepherd, Clementine Ford always seemed destined for the limelight. She made her acting debut on her mother's hit comedy series, Cybill, in 1998.
Eventually, Ford went on to the big screen, appearing in the films American Pie and Bring it On. She also had roles in the independent film Last Goodbye and the slasher flick Cherry Falls.
In 2007, Ford gained notoriety when she landed the recurring role of Molly Kroll on the Showtime drama THE L WORD. She played the daughter of her real-life mother Cybill Shepherd's character, a woman who comes out as a lesbian in middle age.
Ford ventured into daytime in Feb. 2009, when she won the Y&R role of Mackenzie Browning, Katherine Chancellor's granddaughter and Billy Abbott's first love.
The divorced actress was married to Chad Todhunter from 2000-'04. She recently came out as a lesbian in an interview with Soap Opera Digest, confirming that she is in a relationship with singer/songwriter Linda Perry.

Look Who's Talking
"My parents are big Western fans, and I am named after the movie My Darling Clementine. I like my name, because it's different but it's still a classic." — Soap Opera Digest, 5/26/09
"It's a really safe place, which is good, considering how tough the work is. Jeanne Cooper [Katherine] is great and how cute is Billy Miller [Billy]? Gay or not gay, I can appreciate that." — Digest, 5/26/09
