The 411
Though ATWT marks Chaunteé Schuler's television debut, the talented singer and dancer is certainly no stranger to performing.
After graduating from the University Of Richmond (which she did in only three years), the VA native headed to New York City to pursue an acting career. There, she attended the Actors Studio Drama School and landed roles in tours of Disney's The Lion King (where she played Nala, the same role Renee Goldsberry (ex-Evangeline, OLTL) had when she starred in the musical on Broadway), The Producers and Dreamgirls (as Deena).
In 2006, Schuler made her true TV debut of sorts when she and her then-fiancé, Joshua Walker, competed in THE TODAY SHOW's "TODAY Throws A Wedding" competition. She and Walker didn't win the prize (they came in second place), but did tie the knot that year.
The next year, she joined ATWT as Duncan and Jessica's now-grown daughter, Bonnie, who's an attorney. Schuler has especially shined in her scenes with Trent Dawson (Henry) and Ewa da Cruz (Vienna).

Say It, Schuler!
"I didn't know anything about auditioning. School and the real world are completely different. You can have all the talent in the world and not have the business sense, and get nowhere."
— Richmond University Alumni Magazine, Spring 2005
"I'm really ambitious. I'm always jumping the gun on taking that next step. If I stopped to think about what I'm doing, I would think I'm really crazy."
— Richmond University Alumni Magazine, Spring 2005
