The 411
Los Angeles native Bradley Cole is one of five children. He went to Pepperdine University in Malibu with the intention of playing sports. An arm injury took him off the baseball field and introduced him to acting. He ended up landing the lead in a school production of One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and picked up the school's best actor award. After college, he headed to Hollywood.
Things didn't pan out in California, which propelled him to New York. In the Big Apple, he sold shoes, but found no acting gigs. Finally, Cole went to Europe. In Paris, he played guitar in bars and on the streets to make money while studying French. Eventually, he found a theater that performed plays in English, and slipped his photo and resumé under the door. The director called and offered him the role of Nick in Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf. In Europe, Cole was a hit. He found an agent, got a role on a European soap, RIVIERA, and appeared in several American productions that were filming in Paris.
Close to two decades after leaving the states, Cole came home and received a call from GUIDING LIGHT. Although he originally wanted to try out for Edmund, he landed the role of Richard. After playing Richard for several years, Cole left the show and later returned as Jeffrey, Richard's look-alike in 2003.
While acting, he has also recorded several albums and performs regular shows. His tour schedule and music can be found at www.bradleycole.com.
