Lily noted that the kids who came to their house during Halloween took almost all of the candy she and Cane had put out for them. She then went on about how adorable the kids were. She and Cane began to get amorous, but were interrupted when Roxanne and Devon stopped by with some food. Cane and Lily subtly tried to get them to leave, but Devon and Roxy weren't taking the hint. Lily feigned being tired and they finally left. Cane scooped up Lily and carried her to the bedroom, where they made love.

At Fenmore's, Michael lamented to Lauren that he's not sure he could get the S.E.C. away from Newman Enterprises, thanks to Billy's exposé in Restless Style. Lauren wished she'd pulled all of her ads from the magazine before Billy took over.

Meanwhile, Jeffrey and Gloria received an eviction notice from Phyllis. Still, Gloria believed that Billy's article would lead to them getting their money back from the bank in the Cayman Islands. After, Michael joined his mom at Crimson Lights and agreed to pay their rent for a month. Gloria didn't want a handout; she wanted justice for Victor swindling them. She asked Michael to nudge the S.E.C. so they'd help the victims. Michael replied that he'd see if he could get any information, but wouldn't sabotage Victor. Gloria was confident that Michael wouldn't let them down.

At Jimmy's, Amber warned Mac that Billy has a tendency to be a jerk to people. After, Mac admitted to Billy that she's not sure if their relationship can ever be salvaged.... Amber went to Fenmore's, but felt badly that people weren't buying her clothes. Lauren offered her a job as a sales woman, which Amber eagerly accepted.

At Sharon's, Noah asked if she'd spent Halloween alone. She replied that she had a visitor and ended up having a nice time.... Nick went to work at Newman Enterprises and promised aloud that he'd make Victor proud, now that he was acting as boss. Adam arrived and Nick implored him to stay away from Sharon. Adam insisted that he and Sharon are just friends and that he'd never hurt her. Nick said that if Adam wants to continue to work at Newman, he's going to follow orders, and then arranged for his brother to go out of town on an assignment. Ashley then arrived and told Nick that she's keeping her seat on the Newman board. Nick noted that he wanted to take Newman in a whole, new direction. Ashley approved, but reminded him that Victor doesn't like change.... Michael stopped by Newman and warned Nick that thanks to Billy's article, the S.E.C. has latched onto the Cayman Bank issue. Nick asked how to make the problem go away; Michael explained that Newman would have to pay back all of the money Victor withdrew, plus interest. Later, Michael informed Gloria and Jeffrey that they'd be getting their money back. Gloria toasted to Billy.

Sharon found Billy at Jimmy's and quit Restless Style, explaining that his article hurt Noah and Abby. Billy argued that he didn't even mention them, but Sharon pointed out that they were still affected because of their ties to Victor. After, Sharon told Adam that she quit her job. Adam filled her in on how Nick demanded he stay away from Sharon.

At The Newman Ranch, Abby was cold toward Ashley. Ashley explained that she was worried about Abby hanging around in bars. Abby didn't want to hear it and was upset about Victor leaving town with Nikki. After, Abby and her new friend Daisy went to Crimson Lights, where they ran into Eden and Noah. Eden and Daisy clashed when Eden insinuated that Daisy's a rich snob. Daisy retorted that she's attending Walnut Grove on a scholarship. Abby then made fun of Eden's fashion sense. Later, Amber ran into Daisy at the coffeehouse and offered to help Daisy get a job at the boutique. Abby bristled when she overheard Eden say that Daisy is the last thing that Lauren needs. "You don't even know her," Abby pointed out. "Neither do you," said Eden. Daisy went to Fenmore's and buttered up Lauren by saying how gorgeous Lauren is and how wonderful Amber is. Daisy admitted that she doesn't have any retail experience, but assured Lauren that she learns quickly.... Lauren informed Billy that she's pulling all of Fenmore's ads from the magazine.... Daisy returned to the coffeehouse and happily told Amber that Lauren offered her the job. Ashley found Abby there and demanded that her daughter come home immediately. Abby was furious.

Nick sat in his office and sighed loudly as he worried about the company's future.... Sharon told Adam that she'd miss him while he was away.
