At the Newman Ranch, Adam panicked when he found Ashley unconscious at the bottom of the stairs. He brought Ashley up to her room and changed her nightgown. Meanwhile, a worried Nikki called the ranch to see if everything was alright. She let herself in and was greeted by Adam. He apologized and lied that he didn't answer the phone because he'd been asleep. She asked him to let Ashley know that she stopped by. After she left, he grabbed Ash's nightgown, apologizing out loud for hurting her. In her room, Ashley awakened and cried out for help. Adam ran in and she asked if she'd fallen down the stairs. She feared that she was losing the baby. Adam lied that she'd been in bed for hours and had had a nightmare. She argued that she was in too much pain for it to have been a dream. Adam offered to call Olivia, but Ashley didn't want to speak with her. Instead, Adam promised to have a different specialist see her in the morning.

Nick and Sharon snuggled in bed together. Meanwhile at the tack house, Phyllis declared her sex romp with Jack "surprising," but neither had any regrets about being together. Nick was certain that Sharon's baby is his. Sharon acknowledged that their reunion was going to be hard on Phyllis and Summer, but Nick didn't want to pretend that he was still committed to Phyllis. Sharon also knew that she needed to be honest with Jack.... Phyllis thanked Jack for being there for her. He told her that she's a wonderful woman and called Nick an idiot for not seeing that. "You're an incredible man," Phyllis replied. Jack stated that he's going to fight for Sharon and suggested that Phyllis do the same with Nick. After Jack left, Phyllis regarded her wedding band and thought back to when she married Nick.

Mary Jane cut out a picture of Phyllis and placed it on a board marked "My Enemies," which also featured photos of Victor and Sharon. After, she ran into Jack at the GCAC bar. She revealed that she was thinking of heading home; Jack replied that it would be a big loss for Jabot. She then asked if Jack was upset about something, and he admitted that he'd had a rough day. MJ invited him up to her room so he could cheer up. He readily agreed. "I want us to relax and have fun," she told him upstairs, "and forget about the outside world." "I'm in," said Jack. She removed his tie and gently shoved him onto the bed. She then wrapped his tie around his head like a blindfold. Jack was dubious about playing her "game," but she insisted that he trust her. Next, she grabbed a scissors and caressed his cheek with it ... but only cut off the blindfold and said that it was time for Jack's "prize." After, when Mary Jane asked if they’d be seeing each other again, Jack reminded her that his life is complicated. Hoping for some encouragement, MJ wondered if she should stay in town after all. Jack was noncommital, then turned down her offer of another drink.

Daniel stopped by the tack house and found Phyllis sitting alone in the dark. He wondered what was troubling his mom. Phyllis revealed that Nick left her and went back to Sharon. "I don't want it to be over," she admitted. Daniel embraced her and encouraged her to fight.... A blissful Nick and Sharon donned fuzzy robes and dined on oatmeal cookies. They declared their love for one another and kissed. Later, Phyllis went to the GCAC, intending to approach Nick. She ran into Jack, who advised her to leave Nick alone for the time being. MJ seethed as she watched him take Phyllis home. Victoria and Jana met with Thomas Balfour, the man who conned Daniel.

Victoria noted that she recognized the painting, a Terroni, which had been stolen from a certain museum 10 years before. Balfour explained that he could get the painting back and he needed the Newmans Foundation's cash. He warned that if they mentioned it being a forgery, Daniel would be in trouble. Jana urged Victoria to buy it. She agreed to make a deal. He replied that she had 24 hours to get him the money. After he left, Vicky told Jana that she was going to the Feds. She did, and agreed to wear a wire.... Jana filled in Daniel on Balfour being a con artist and suggested that they find the real Aucker. Daniel wasn't sure it was a good idea and wanted to have it out with the con. Jana feared that he could get hurt.

Nikki asked Jack if he'd seen Ashley. He replied that she'd been at the ranch the entire time.... Adam burned Ashley's bloody nightgown, while Ashley recalled Adam scaring her by dressing up as Sabrina. "What have you done to me?" she cried. Adam kept his cool and insisted that she and her baby were fine. He again explained that she'd dreamed everything, but she wasn't sure what to believe.
